In 2024, Malaia's Microgreens became PrimusGFS certified, which includes GFSI, GAP, GMP, and HACCP certifications. This is the highest level of food safety certifications a farm can achieve.

Malaia's Microgreens was awarded a $250,000 grant by the CDFA to expand operations to over 4x in size. We were one of the fist farms to receive a grant of this kind, to invest in urban agriculture and promote sustainable farming methods.
